1.Objectives

The program is taught in English. The students should master the basic theories of economics and international trade; they also should be familiar with the development and trade policies of different countries under WTO rules. The students will have good abilities of communication, coordination, innovation and entrepreneurship after graduation, and can be adapted to the economic globalization.

2. Training requirements

The students mainly study the basic theories and basic knowledge of international economics and trade; accept the basic training of international economic and trade practices; and will have excellent quality structure, ability structure and knowledge structure.

Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Accounting, Statistics, International Economics, International trade theory and policy, Practice of International Trade, Principles of Management, International Business Negotiation, Principles of Finance.

6. Qualification of applicants

1) Good physical and mental health

2) Senior high school diploma (this year’s graduate should submit diploma at the latest when register)

3) Under the age of 30

8. Scholarship

1) International students can apply for university scholarship, the standard is RMB 6000/year-12000/year.

The freshmen who have obtained the University Scholarship after evaluation will be awarded the third-class of the Academic Scholarship for the first year of this program. Scholarship students must participate in the annual assessment of the scholarship at the end of each academic year.

2) Besides university scholarships, students can also apply for Sichuan Government Scholarship (SGS),Chengdu Government Sister-Cities Scholarships and Chengdu Government “The Belt and Road” Scholarship. Please visit the scholarship website for detail information.

Notes:a. Applicants cannot apply for both Government Scholarship and Sichuan Agricultural University Scholarship at the same time.

b. Scholarship decision is based on the comprehensive ranking of applicants’ academic performance.

11. Interview

Students are required to attend a video or telephone interview at a specified time, or to provide a short video of up to 5 minutes, covering English self-introduction, willingness to study in China, etc.
